Phonics is so important for learning to read and write. Practising little and often is the key to improvement for children.
Each day the Ruth Miskin channel on Youtube releases a phonics session for each set of sounds the children in Reception and KS1 learn.
Why not log on and practise with you child?

Home Learning
Home learning is an important link between our school and home to support, progress and embed the children’s learning.
We value parental engagement and the importance of continuing learning at home. As a partnership we can help our children to flourish and learn the skills and knowledge to become life long learners.
There are 4 focus areas for home learning and these should be completed daily:
1. Child reading their reading/phonics book to an adult
2. An adult reading a book to their child
3. Child practicing counting or times tables
4. Child practicing spellings
Below is a copy of our Home Learning Policy and cover letter outlining our approach to home learning.
