If you are interested in your child starting Reception at our school we invite you to come to Heartwood for a walk around and a chat.
We are also delighted to now be offering 30 hour funded nursery places.

Welcome to Heartwood CE VC Primary and Nursery School.
We are a wonderful and caring school community.
At Heartwood we adopt the Danish Hygge approach (pronounced Hue-gah) to living well that focuses on being in the moment and embracing the feelings of warmth, simplicity and togetherness.
We plan opportunities throughout the school day to come together as a school family. This begins by starting the day having breakfast together, chatting and sharing stories.
Our school environment is calm, neutral and we use a wide range of natural materials for the children to experience and use.
We place a huge emphasis on well-being of everyone, including our children, families and staff. This is built upon our values of friendship, respect, compassion, service, courage and responsibility.
I am proud to have been a leader at Heartwood CE VC Primary and Nursery School, was Swaffham VC Infant and Nursery School since 2011. The school community of Swaffham is like a family and one were I strive to serve my best for.
