Mental Health

At Heartwood we nurture mental wellness, resilience and belonging in a calm, compassionate community where every child, adult and family is valued and heard. We create safe, warm spaces that prioritise connection and emotional safety, listen deeply and provide regular opportunities to share and reflect, teach resilience and confidence in seeking support, model empathy, kindness and mutual respect, work in partnership with families and staff, and embed mental health in our curriculum, relationships and daily routines.

Take a look at this short video clip from Brene Brown about sympathy and empathy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Evwgu369Jw
